This Privacy Policy explains how My Flight Logbook ("the app", "we") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and only collect what is needed to provide the app's features.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
- Logbook data — the flights, aircraft, and related records you enter, so we can store and sync them for you.
- Location data — used only while the app is open, when you choose to track a flight or auto-detect airports. Location is not collected in the background.
How we use your information
- To provide core features: storing your logbook, syncing across your devices, and generating exports you request.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using our cloud provider (Supabase) and is associated with your account. It is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the app (e.g., our cloud hosting provider) or as required by law.
Your choices
- You can export your data to PDF or CSV at any time from within the app.
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing us.
